Dhamma Galleria was founded as a social-entrepreneurial project in Thailand, with the aim of providing astrological reading, consultation, education, and related services to clients online, based on core Buddhist principles of cultivating compassion and helping all sentient beings.

Our work in Thailand includes a range of religious and social services, such as organizing religious activities, assisting the underprivileged, and promoting Buddhist beliefs. Your support would help us further our mission.

In today's chaotic world, there are always people in need of assistance and suffering. Although we may not be able to change the world overnight, we believe that we can start small by helping those around us in any way we can.

Nong Gao

After being born with a hand deformity, Nong Gao was abandoned by her parents. Now in the care of her elderly grandmother, who suffers from poor eyesight and is in her 70s, their impoverished situation has led to a daily diet of instant noodles and difficulty affording basic necessities such as milk powder and clothing for Nong Gao. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to provide them with essentials such as milk powder, diapers, and clothing, as well as helping them secure a new home. We also provided financial assistance for Nong Gao to receive a prosthetic hand.

Loon Ai

Thirteen-year-old Loon Ai was born with congenital deformities and is paralyzed. Her parents are unknown, and she currently lives with her grandmother in poverty-stricken Phrae, Thailand. Loon Ai relies on an oxygen concentrator and phlegm suction equipment to clear her throat and ensure her respiratory system is not blocked. Unfortunately, due to frequent power cuts during the rainy season, these devices have failed several times, and the backup battery has also stopped working. With your help, we were able to provide her with a new medical backup battery, daily necessities, food, and financial assistance.

Loong Ong

Loong Ong, a 13-year-old boy, was born with multiple congenital deformities that affect his entire body. He also experiences spasms, sudden and involuntary muscle contractions that prevent him from sitting still for long periods without support. He is unable to walk and recently fractured his leg after falling from an old and damaged wooden chair, which he spends most of his day in. To receive treatment at the hospital, he requires a wheelchair, which he currently does not have. Loong Ong's parents' whereabouts are unknown, and he is living with his grandmother, who works every day to support him. Due to their financial constraints, they are unable to afford a mattress for him, and he sleeps on the cold concrete floor every day. During my visit to their home, Loong Ong had a fever, likely due to the rainy weather. When it was time for me to leave, he cried with sorrow, revealing the physical and emotional pain he was experiencing. This experience reminded me that there is still much work to be done to help those living in poverty and suffering. With your help, we were able to purchase a reclining wheelchair that provides a comfortable, secure, and safe sitting and lying position for him. We also provided daily necessities and financial assistance.

Ji Ar and Jo Ee

Ji Ar and Jo Ee are two brothers who were born with the HIV virus and were abandoned by their father. Their mother has passed away, and they are now under the care of their grandmother. However, their family is facing financial difficulties in purchasing the medicines that they need for their condition. The cost of these medicines is approximately 800 SGD per month, and they have to be consumed daily as prescribed by their doctor (photos of the prescriptions are available). With your help, we have been able to provide financial assistance for their monthly medical supplies.

Mr Paek

Mr Paek was suffering from Stage 3 Blood Cancer. He lacked the money for medical expenses. As Mr Paek was not able to consume any solid food, milk and other liquid diets were purchased for him. With your help, we have raised funds for his medical expenses. (We are sorry to announce that he has subsequently succumbed to his illness).

Mint

Mint is an 8-year-old girl born with Down Syndrome. Abandoned by her father, she lived with her mother and grandmother in an old house in Phrae, Thailand. The family is living in poverty and Mint was not able to receive any educational aid to help her development. They also lacked the money to buy her the needed daily necessities. The roof of the house is also broken, and when it rains, water will flood the house. With your help, we have been able to provide them with daily necessities and financial assistance.

Lampang School for the Blind

The Lampang School for the Blind is a special institution for visually impaired students, most of whom were born partially or completely blind. These students face unique challenges that will impact them throughout their lives. To support them, we plan to donate food items and supplies to the school, as well as provide financial assistance for their educational and living expenses. With your help, we can bring joy to their lives and help them succeed in their studies.

Loong Dim

Loong Dim was born with leg deformities that have left him unable to walk or stand. His mother works as a cleaner and earns around 6700 baht (approximately 267 SGD) per month, while his father is currently unemployed. Despite his physical challenges, Loong Dim is a cheerful and endearing boy. However, his constant wheelchair use has weakened his health and led to complications in his internal organs, including his lungs, which are compressed due to his sitting posture. This has caused breathing difficulties and lung infections, leading to a continuous high fever. Recently, he was admitted to the hospital after becoming unresponsive and unconscious. Doctors discovered that the infection had spread to his organs and blood, causing septic shock, a serious condition that can lead to dangerously low blood pressure and cellular abnormalities. Loong Dim will require surgery to disinfect his blood and internal organs, as well as to correct his posture and breathing difficulties. With your help, we have provided his family with daily necessities and financial assistance.

2020 Outreach: Distribution of Food & Gits to Underprivileged Families

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the generous donors and hardworking volunteers who helped make this event possible.

Organizing this outreach program during the COVID-19 pandemic presented numerous challenges, such as coordinating logistics and adhering to government guidelines on gathering size. We prioritized the safety of our elderly and disabled recipients, minimizing photo-taking time and allowing them to return home as quickly as possible.

Our distribution was conducted indoors with social distancing measures in place, and we invited local government officials of the the district in บ้านหนุนเหนือ อำเภอสอง แพร่ and medical professionals to ensure the event was properly executed and safe for all involved.

We are incredibly thankful for the generosity and encouragement of the donors and supporters who have helped uplift the people of rural Northern Thailand during this difficult time. Many have suffered economic hardship due to the pandemic and political instability, making it difficult to provide for their families.

Your love and compassion brought joy and hope to these individuals during the Christmas season, and we pray that the blessings and protection of the Buddha will be with you and your loved ones always. May you be blessed with happiness, health, wealth, luck, and the Dhamma in all aspects of your lives, and may you attain the highest realizations and merits.

Providing Meals to Orphanage @ Lampang

Team Dhamma Galleria is organizing another outreach event to provide meals for the orphanage in Lampang (บ้านหนุน). The entire cost of this event is being sponsored by Dhamma Galleria. We express our gratitude for your generous support towards our efforts and hope to continue making this world a happier place in our own small ways.

May the blessings of the Buddha, boundless compassion, and protection be with you and your loved ones, granting you happiness, health, wealth, and longevity. May the Dhamma always be present in your lives, and may you achieve the highest realizations and merits, receiving the greatest blessings.
