Dhamma Galleria started as an social-entrepreneurial project based in Thailand, aimed at providing astrological reading, consultation, education and related services to clients over the internet. Our operation is based on certain core Buddhist principles such as to cultivate compassion in this world and to provide help to all sentient beings.

We provide religious and social services in Thailand including, but not limited to, religious activities, assisting the poor and preservation of Buddhism beliefs. Your support will aid us in furthering our goals.

There are always people who need help around us. There are also a lot of sufferings in this chaotic world we live in today. We believed that, although we may not change the world overnight, we can always start small by helping those around us, in whatever ways we can.

Since the year 2012, under the suggestions, encouragements and support of our clients, we have expanded our entrepreneurial project, and included a charitable element into our operation. We started various missions, such as purchasing food ration, medical equipment for the sick, and coffins for the deceased and more by raising funds through crowdfunding.

We have always kept to the furthest extend of our ability to ensure that all funds received are held accountable, and the channels in which the funds have been used be absolutely transparent. We are extremely grateful that many of joined us and supported us in making the world a better place!

Thank you very much for your kind interest to help!

Nong Gao

Nong Gao was born with a hand deformity, and was abandoned by her parents after she was born. She is now taken care of by her grandmother who has problem with her eye sight, who is now in her 70s. Due to poverty, the grandmother can only afford to eat instant noodles every day. The grandmother also is not able to buy milk powder and clothing for Nong Gao. With your help, we have been able to purchase milk powder, diapers and clothing for them and settled down into a new dwelling. Financial assistance was provided for Nong Gao to have a prosthetic hand made. (Click here for details)

Loon Ai

Loon Ai, aged 13, was born congenitally deformed and paralyzed. Her parents whereabouts are unknown. She currently lived with her grandmother in Phrae, Thailand. She has to rely on an oxygen concentrator for breathing and also a phlegm suction equipment to clear her throat constantly so that her respiratory system will not be blocked. Due to the rainy season, the oxygen concentrator and the phlegm suction equipment have stopped working several times as the electricity was often cut off in this poverty stricken area. The backup battery that is used to connect to the medical devices, has stopped working. With your help, we have been able to purchase a new medical  backup battery for her and provided her with the provision of daily necessities and diapers, food and financial assistance. Loong Ong

Loong Ong, 13 years old, is a young boy with congenital deformity throughout his body. He also suffered from spasm or sudden, involuntary contraction of a group of muscles that cause him to be unable to sit stationary for long without a supporting chair. Due to his deformity, he is not able to walk. His leg was recently fractured due to a fall from an old and spoiled wooden chair, which he spent most of his day in. He would also need a wheelchair to move around and travel to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the whereabouts of parents of Loong Ong are unknown. He is currently living with his grandmother, who also has to work every day to support him. As they cannot afford to buy a mattress for Loong Ong, he has to sleep on the cold concrete floor every day. Due to the raining weather, Loong Ong has got a fever when I visited him. When it's time for us to leave, Loong Ong cried with sorrow. It was obvious that he was in physically and emotional pain. At that moment, I realized there's still so much that's needed to be done to help these people living in poverty and suffering. With your help, we have been able to purchase a reclinable wheelchair, which allows comfortable, secure and safe sitting and lying position for him, and provided him with daily necessities and financial assistance. Ji Ar and Jo Ee

The family is facing difficulties purchasing medicine for the both, which cost them about 800sgd each month (medicines they have to consumption daily and prescription by doctor are shown in the photos). With your help, they received financial assistance for their monthly medical supplies. (Click here for more details)

With your help, we have raise funds for his medical expenses. (We are sorry to announce that he has subsequently succumbed to his illness).

Mint

Mint is an 8-year-old girl born with Down Syndrome. Abandoned by her father, she lived with her mother and grandmother in an old house in Phrae, Thailand. The family is living in poverty and Mint was not able to receive any educational aid to help her develop. They also lacked the money to buy her the needed daily necessities. The roof of the house is also broken, and when it rains, water will flood the house. With your help, we have been able to provide them with daily necessities and financial assistance. Lampang School for the Blind

Lampang School for the Blind: Our plan is to pass donation and food items to the young students there. Loong Dim

Loong Dim was born with deformity in his legs. He's unable to stand, walk or run like the rest of his peers. His mother is a cleaner who earns 6700 baht (approximated 267 sgd) a month, and the father is currently jobless. Despite the physical disability that he was born with, Loong Dim is an adorable and cheerful little boy. However, since young, due to the fact that he is always wheelchair bound, his health is weak, and as he grows, there are other complications found in his internal organs. Doctors have found that his lungs are not functioning well, due to the compressed posture sitting on the wheelchair for long period. Loong Dim has subsequently developed breathing difficulty and lungs infection, which led to continuous high prolonged fever. A few days ago, he was admitted into the hospital as he became unresponsive in his reaction and unconscious. Upon diagnosis, doctors have found out that the infection has spread to other organs and blood, causing him to have septic shocks, a serious medical condition that occurs when sepsis, which is organ injury or damage in response to infection, leads to dangerously low blood pressure and abnormalities in cellular metabolism. Operations and surgeries would need to be carried out to disinfect his blood and other internal organs, and also rectify his postures that have caused him breathing difficulty. With your help, we have provided them with daily necessities and financial assistance. (Click here for more details)

2020 Outreach: Distribute of Food & Gits to Underprivileged Families

We are thankful from the bottom of our hearts for the generous contributions from donors, and also for the volunteers who have put in the time and effort to plan for this event.

It has not been easy planning this outreach amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The executions of logistics and arrangement of manpower have been challenging, and we have to make multiple trips planning the event, keeping gathering size of manpower to not exceed the allowed limit imposed by the government for the sake of prevention of the spread of COVID-19.

As many are old people and some are disabled, we have tried to minimize the time for the photo taking process and to allow recipients to go home quickly as there is a risk for the spread of the COVID-19 virus if anyone is happened to be infected.

The distribution is done in-door with social distancing measured in place, and we have invited government officials of the district in บ้านหนุนเหนือ อำเภอสอง แพร่ Am-per Song, and medical doctor to witness the event to ensure that the entire process is safe and properly conducted.

Nonetheless, we have been blessed by the many real-life Bodhisattvas who not only donated money but also given us your genuine support and words of encouragements.

You have extended warm helping hands to the people in need of help in the rural area of Northern Thailand. COVID-19 has caused much economic hardships to them.

Because of the social distancing measures imposed, and because of the instability of the economic and political climate in Thailand, many of them have lost their income, and their livelihood is greatly affected, without sufficient means to feed their loved ones and children.

Your love and compassion have brightened their Christmas, which is exactly a season of joy and giving.

May the ultimate blessings, infinite compassion and the protection of the Buddha be upon you and may you and your loved ones be happy, healthy, wealthy and lucky, live long lives and always have the Dhamma around you, in all your lives. May you attain the highest realizations and merits, and receive the highest blessings.

Have a blessed day!
