Thank you very much for sponsoring the novice monks from Wat Sobmoe faithfully and selflessly for the past 2 years. Today marked a special day for the first batch of novice monks to "graduate" from the fist part of ordination to the next level of study.
The first part of the ordination procedure is called the “Going Forth in Homelessness”. This is where the candidates requested to become a novice and they were instructed about the Triple Gem (the Buddha, the Teaching, and the Community of Monks) and the purpose and benefits of the ordination.
The next training will be to take Refuge in the Triple Gem and the Ten Precepts.
May you and your loved ones be happy, healthy, wealthy and lucky, live long lives and always have the Dhamma around you, in all your lives. May you attain the highest realizations and merits, and receive the highest blessings.
